Congratulations to our 2011 Annual Campaign for Highline Grand Prize Drawing Winner - Christy Tran!

Christy is a Staff Accountant at the Specialty Campus who loves her job, her community, and is a regular donor to the Foundation.  As the winner of this year's drawing, Christy received a "Night Out on the Town" package including a room at the Seattle Hilton, two tickets to the Seattle Art Museum, and a gift certificate to The Brooklyn Seafood, Steak and Oyster House downtown!  Take a peek below to get the inside scoop on our winner!

Christy, how long have you worked for Highline? 

I am going on my fourth year as an employee here.

What is your favorite local restaurant? 

That is too hard to choose!  It depends on what I am in the mood for.

If you were an animal, what would you be and why? 

A dog because I admire their loyalty.

Why do you donate to Highline Medical Center Foundation?  

I donate because I truly believe I am blessed in my life, and as part of my responsiblity to my community, I donate what I can to help others not as fortunate.  I believe it doesn't matter how much you can give - big or small - donations of all amounts really make a difference.  You never know when you might be the one who needs help, so I think it is important to give back what you can.

Lastly, who are you going to take downtown for your Night Out on the Town? 

I am going to take my husband Kha and my beautiful 14-month-old daughter, Elaine.
