Patient FAQ

I have questions but I forget them when I see my doctor. What do you suggest?

It is easy to get overwhelmed and forget what you need to ask. If your questions are not urgent and you are feeling well, we suggest that you write them down for your next visit. This way you can also write down the responses and review them later.

I don’t feel well. Should I call the doctor or clinic?

If you are having any chest pain or difficulty breathing, call 911 for immediate assistance. Otherwise, please call as early as you can so that we can fit you into the schedule if you need to be seen. Here are some guidelines—but if in doubt, CALL!

  • Have a fever of 100.5 degrees F (38 degrees C) or higher.
  • Have excessive nausea, vomiting or diarrhea and have been unable to eat or drink for more than 24 hours.
  • Have bruising, faint red rash, black bowel movements or any other signs of bleeding.
  • Have any unexpected, unexplained problems.
  • Have any questions or concerns.

I need financial assistance. Can you help?
