ASHP Match Process

Highline Medical Center’s residency program participates in the ASHP Resident Matching Program. Potential candidates must register in the matching process to be considered for the residency position. Please visit the following website for procedures on registering for the ASHP match process. Highline Medical Center’s NMS match code is 161013. http://www.ashp.org/Import/ACCREDITATION/ResidentInfo/ResidentMatching.aspx.

To be eligible for a Highline Medical Center Residency Position, please complete the following items by January 16, 2012. Our application is paperless with the exception of the official college transcript:

  • A letter of general introduction and interest, stating reasons for applying to Highline Medical Center. Please email the letter to the pharmacy residency program director.
  • An updated resume or curriculum vitae submitted with the online application.
  • Three letters of professional recommendation. Please have the recommendation letter emailed to the pharmacy residency program director.
  • One copy of an official college transcript, mailed directly by the candidate’s university or college to the residency director.
  • A completed online Highline Medical Center employee application.

How to Apply Online

  1. Please go to our website, www.highlinemedicalcenter.org.
  2. Click on the link "Career Opportunities" on the left hand side of the page.
  3. In the drop down menu, select "View All Careers" and click on the "Find" button.
  4. Find the "Pharmacy Resident" listing and click on this link to apply for this position.
  5. Click on the "Apply Now" button at the bottom of the screen.
  6. You’ll need to have a username and password or register for one before applying.
  7. Complete the online application and submit your current CV as an attachment.
  8. When you have completed your application hit the "Submit" button.
