Carbohydrate Counting Class
This series provides people with diabetes who are on insulin with practical guidelines for adjusting insulin to match carbohydrate intake. Prior experience with insulin management and meal planning is a plus. Physician referral is requested.

Diabetes Self-Management Training
This series provides people with diabetes with practical information about living with diabetes. Medicare and Medicaid will pay for patients referred by physicians. Many private insurance companies will give partial or full coverage with a physician’s referral.

Diabetes Skills Lab
This two-hour class is for those newly diagnosed with diabetes who need to learn blood glucose monitoring and basic meal planning.

Gestational Diabetes Class
Monitoring and meal planning for women who are pregnant and have gestational diabetes.

Healthy Spine Exercise Class
This class is suitable for people with intermittent and mild-to-moderate back and/or neck pain or people who want to achieve better posture to prevent spinal dysfunction and pain.
Cost: $50
Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays (8 sessions), 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. New classes begin/continue each month.
